Terms & conditions

These terms explain how you can use Just Some Gift Ideas.

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Who we are

Just Some Gift Ideas is operated by Yulisoft Ltd., registered in England and Wales under company number 10727837. Our registered office is Office Suite 3, Shrieves Walk, Stratford Upon Avon, CV37 6GJ. Contact us at [email protected].

2. Using the service

These terms apply when you use this website to create, manage, view or share gift lists. Please read them before using the service. If you do not agree, please do not use it. The service is intended for adults organising their own or their family’s gift ideas; children’s lists should be managed by an adult.

You may create lists, add ideas and share them for personal use. Do not use the service for unlawful content, harassment, spam, impersonation or attempts to access someone else’s private information. Do not interfere with its security or availability.

3. No login and keeping access to your lists

You do not need to complete a registration form or enter a password. The service uses an anonymous session and saves access credentials in your browser. Keep that browser and device secure, especially on a shared device.

Your original manager access is saved in this browser. Clearing site data or losing your device can mean losing it. An enabled Edit link lets you open and edit that one list on another device. Bookmark it somewhere secure; it does not restore your other lists or manager controls. A gifter link does not grant editing access.

4. Your content and sharing

You remain responsible for the names, notes, links and images you add. Only add content you are entitled to use, and avoid including sensitive information about yourself or others. You keep any rights you hold in your content and allow us to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service and the sharing choices you make.

With Gifter sharing enabled, anyone with the gifter link or QR code can view the shared list title, note and visible gifts. Hidden gifts are excluded. Receiver names are not shown separately, but names included in a shared title, note or gift are visible. People can forward a link or save what they see.

You can stop sharing through the list’s sharing controls. This prevents new access through that link, but cannot remove copies or screenshots already made by others.

5. Product links, prices and reservations

We help organise ideas; we do not sell, supply or deliver the gifts. Purchases are made with the relevant shop under its own terms. We are not responsible for a shop’s products, fulfilment, returns or customer service.

Imported product information may be missing, inaccurate or out of date. Always check the item, price, availability and suitability with the shop before buying. A reservation is an indication of a guest’s intention, not a purchase or guarantee that a gift will be bought.

6. Affiliate links

We may occasionally include affiliate links on the service. If you make a qualifying purchase through one of those links, we can earn a commission from the retailer. We will clearly identify affiliate links when we use them.

7. Availability and responsible operation

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every product link will import successfully. We may need to maintain, change or suspend parts of the service. Where reasonably practical, we will give notice of material changes affecting existing use.

We may restrict content or access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements. If you think something has been removed or restricted in error, contact us.

We plan to delete lists after 24 months of inactivity. Automatic inactivity deletion is not yet enabled. You can delete a list using its Delete action, subject to the reservation restrictions shown.

8. Your rights and our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including responsibility for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. The service is for personal use, and we do not accept liability for business losses arising from commercial use.

9. Questions, changes and applicable law

Please contact [email protected] about the service, your content, data protection questions or a complaint. We will try to resolve problems with you.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be brought to your attention where reasonably practical and will not remove rights you have already acquired.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not deprive you of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where applicable.

Privacy and browser storage

Last updated: 22 October 2026.

Yulisoft Ltd runs Just Some Gift Ideas. For privacy questions or requests to delete information, contact [email protected].

You do not need an email account, but the service still handles personal information. This can include names and details entered into lists, reservation names, anonymous session identifiers and connection information.

What we use and why

We store the list titles, notes, recipient details, gift links, prices, image links and reservations you provide. We use session identifiers and access links to recognise permitted actions, and minimal request records to prevent duplicate changes. List organisers and collaborators may supply information about other people.

We use information needed to provide the service you request on the basis of our contract with you. For information about other recipients, and for service reliability and abuse prevention, we rely on our legitimate interests in helping people organise gifts and keeping the service secure. You can contact us to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

The service is designed for adult organisers. Use first names or nicknames where possible, and avoid adding addresses, contact details or sensitive information about recipients, particularly children.

Product imports and security

When you import a product, our import service requests the linked website to look for its title, image and price. Details may be incomplete or need correction. External images can load directly from their hosts, which receive network information such as your IP address. Our gift image component suppresses the page referrer. Opening a product link takes you to that website, where its own privacy practices apply.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. It processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information and website origin. Cloudflare processes these signals for us to protect the service and separately to improve its bot detection. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Sharing and service providers

Anyone who obtains an edit link can edit the corresponding list. Guest links allow the sharing actions enabled for that list. Hidden gifts and private organiser information are excluded from the guest view. Share links only with intended recipients. Keeping a list out of search results does not stop someone with its link from opening it.

We use Supabase for database and session services, Render for hosting and product imports, and Cloudflare for network delivery and security. The production database is hosted in London and the import service in Frankfurt. Providers and their subprocessors may also process information in other countries.

Our providers’ standard data-processing terms describe their responsibilities and international-transfer safeguards, including contractual protections where applicable: Supabase, Render and Cloudflare. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Information in your browser

Your browser stores session credentials and list access information so you can return to lists and manage reservations. Remembered list summaries can include titles, notes, recipient names, appearance and edit links. Small records also track unfinished imports and the bookmark reminder. If a guest creates a private reservation-management link, anyone with that link can view and cancel that guest’s reservations for the linked list, including on another device. The server stores a hash of its secret; the browser keeps the link secret for retries during the session. Reservation-name suggestions are held in page memory; older versions may have left browser records that this version no longer reads.

Clearing this site’s browser storage can remove remembered lists and your ability to manage them. Save the edit links you need first. Clearing storage does not delete a list from our service or erase copies on another person’s device.

Keeping and deleting information

Automatic inactivity deletion is not yet enabled. The planned period is 24 months of inactivity. Until it is enabled, lists remain until deleted using the list’s Delete action or through a verified deletion request. The Delete action is subject to the reservation restrictions shown in the service.

Deleting a list removes its gifts and reservations. It does not remotely erase copies in other browsers. Anonymous authentication records and minimal technical request receipts are not automatically deleted with a list; they support access to other lists and safe retries. Contact us if you also want these records reviewed for deletion. We must check that removing them will not affect another person’s lists or reservations.

Hosting and security providers retain operational logs under their own service retention arrangements. These are separate from list records, and deleting a list does not immediately erase provider logs or any retained backup copies.

Your choices and rights

You can edit list details and use the sharing and deletion controls. You can also ask us about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Which rights apply depends on the information and why it is used. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you using automated processing.

Because there are no named accounts, we may need to verify your authority before disclosing or changing information. Do not send passwords, session tokens or edit links in your first email; describe the request and we will explain a suitable verification method.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or to your local data-protection authority where applicable.
